Last night I signed up to be a blood donor. This morning I got the confirmation that I have an appointment booked for 15th February. I am a little nervous about it as the last time I had blood taken I fainted, this time I must remember not to watch! Although I am anxious because of this, I am also excited to help out another person in the most generous way I can and I find it fascinating to think that my own blood could be pumping around another persons body.
